Just got back from a 5km run, I did 5/1 run/walk, the ITBand felt fine most of the run. But I felt some minor pain during the last 5 minutes. Nothing serious but I could still feel it.

Hi Roos!
Next Sunday I will be riding a metric century for the benefit of the American Diabetes Association. Diabetes is common in my family so this group is near and dear to my heart. Part of the reason I got into biking was to try to lose weight and get fitter so as to decrease my chance of getting diabetes. Now, I can do something I love and also have it benefit an organization that it working to improve the lives of my loved ones.
I'm still short of my fund raising goals. Would you please support my efforts?

I've never seen a training plan that said to take the week off before the race and stuff your face full of German food and beer, but apparently it paid off
