A lot of the pro athlete's are wearing compression socks today. Did anyone notice if they had them on before T1 or not?

Weather is looking great for a wonderful run! Sending good vibes to the BT IMFL crew!

It also looks like the official Ironman Tracker on the Ironman site stopped posting splits after about 1:45 on the swim.

Kathy G's splits are not showing up on Ironman but they are showing up on her athlete tracker. She is out on the bike and looking good. Sue had a great swim and her bike also looks great. Keep up the good work girls!

No there is not.  I posted a message asking if there was a list and never got a response.

This is the WORST the IM tracker has ever been.  No splits whatsoever and then it took forever to get the final bike times, at minimal.

The GPS tool is great and Troy's app is awesome- FB updates happen before the ironman.com updates!  Nice job Troy!

looks like Kathy is picking up the pace a bit.  I bet it is the energy around the turnaround.  she has 1 hr, 35 minutes to make it to mile 19 (3.3 miles) and 3 h 35 and to make it 11.7 miles.  Looks like she is going to make it!!!

Sue is about to enter the state park and I think triplebypat (I think it is him) is just out of the state park.

Go BTers!!!

Anybody seen anything lately for Kathy or Sue? I'm propping my eyelids open but would LOVE to see them finish!

Not seeing any more splits right now online.

I just want to thank everyone here for all the great advice and encouragement.   Because of your help I am an IRONMAN.  God I love the sound of that.  My long shot goal was to break 14 hour.  Ended up at 13:19.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The bike was tough.  I finished 30 min later that I planned.  The wind killed me.  But, my goal, based on your advice was to not push it so I could have a good run.  And that I did.

I'll need to look up how everyone else did.

Thanks again,

Duane Rice - #2704

Oh yea, signed up for 2012 (14 of my peeps are racing in 2012)

Sue finished about 8 minutes ago.  Kathy is 3.15 miles from the finish and seems to be holding a 16-17 minute pace.  she should finish with about 10 minutes to spare.

Interesting - I remember last year I (and a lot of other people had measured the run course long.  my athlete tracker is saying it is 27.35 miles.

Just had time to catch Sue at the finish and re-wound a bit to find a couple other friends!!! Now I'll keep an eye out for Kathy - an amazing woman of perseverance and strength....she'll be celebrating that finish soon!

I just checked athlete tracked and at 11:03 it looks like Kathy is on the back residential street with about 3 miles to go.

I saw triplebypat on the run and gave out a BT yell.

Overall a great day....ocean was nice and calm, bike was windy especially those last 5 miles along the coast and the weather was perfect for the run.

Great job everyone. Congrats to all the BT Ironmen!
