Locally, try dive shops (if you have any in your area).

I just ordered some from the Internet Store, AKA Amazon.  Not many dive shops around Philly.

Last year after the race, you could find parking spots on the roads within walking distance.  After the race I would go get your car, park it closer to the transition and then go get your stuff.

No sweat, you'll have plenty of time to Recon the area and figure out your plan the day before when you go to rack your bike in transition.

So tell me about the "pro forum." The athlete guide says it's a meet and greet opportunity as well as a Q&A. I guess this mitigates fanboyism on race day.

I say that as an unrepentant fanboy. I'll be taking a couple magazine covers for autographs.

The question I have is, is it crazy crowded? I am thinking about taking my 5 year old son along to get a picture with Crowie if possible. My daughter met Chrissie earlier this month.

Last year it was in the expo where you pick up your packet.  There was a stage set up and the pros did a Q&A session.  The event was moderated and it was pretty much a stand around and listen to these guys and gals talk the day before the race. I stuck around for a bit of it and it was interesting.  Not sure if the did an autograph session after but i'm sure you would be able to get hooked up if you tried.

The athlete guide specifically mentions getting autographs, so that's what prompted me. Hadn't even occurred to me until I went through the guide pretty thoroughly.

We'll probably be getting there right before that time anyway so it sure can't hurt to stick around.

Water temps website. I know its probably a lost cause but a cold front is moving in and could bring temps down.  I am just hoping its not 90 degrees on race day and Ill be happy.

Any ideas of restaurants for dinner after the expo and packet pickup in Cambridge?

Looking for casual- not elegant but not diner style.  Italian or Pubish style is good.

Where do you get your readings from? NDBC website says 76

Don't play around with significant figures!  It says 76.5

Foe wetsuit it needs to be 76.1 or less.
