Regular 109 Rehab with Brittney | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's Team Central reporting in! Finished up my swim portion...well 15 minutes away, and I have another long swim on Friday, last night. The bike...not so much. I'm going to try and get some biking in after my swim Friday if its not too dark. If not, I'll do a 2fer Saturday and Sunday to get there (hopefully). Did I mention that travelling for works sucks |

That should help a little, although it's really my swimming that's lagging this month. How do y'all motivate when the weather is cold? I just don't want to get half-naked when it's less than 80 degrees outside! I'll drag my hiney down to the pool right now (sigh) ... Trish Go WEST! I got motivated by moving south. And as soon as I start feeling cold again, I'll probably just move MORE south. (Florida, here I come!)

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's Blargh. I really feel bad for letting the west down! I am trying to catch up, honestly. I'm not sure if I'll meet my goal at all as my 40 mile ride is cancelled!
Going to bike for an hour tonight though!
Here's where I am so far and how far I am behind. Please don't throw rocks at me. Oh ok, go ahead, but just the small ones.
Swim: 16400 M - 5600 left to go Bike: 69.97 Mi - 40 Miles to go'
Actually looking at those numbers now, I might be able to finish.

LOL, that was funny. Yep, keep sitting, Hazmaster. And then next month, you can exchange the Hazmaster avatar for a TWINKIE! In fact, *everyone* should keep sitting. Except for the EAST TEAM. East - you all need to swim, bike, swim, bike - and then swim and bike some more! I don't wanna be a Twinkie! Nor do I want to display one next to my name..... Do you??????? I thought not............ |

This has been a great challenge and speaking for myself has really helped me to be motivated this month. Great job!!! I think the fear of having to display a Twinkietar next month helped, too. Note to EAST ---> We were ahead all month! Why are we slipping behind now? I think EAST needs to light a fire under their, um.... Twinkies. Note to Central, West and ROW ---> Feel free to take the rest of the month off. |

They'll enjoy seeing your TWINKIETARS on display. (Although, given how East is doing, maybe I should just keep quiet. This smacktalking may come back to haunt me. LOL) I see they've gotten quite a response for that Oct. Challenge already. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's My arms are about to fall off. I hauled myself down to the pool today and swam again. This takes me well over for my swim goal for the month. I haven't calculated it yet, I'm probably close to our 120% max limit! Woohoo! But I'm not going to post my totals yet --- because I'm just at 100% of my bike goal, and WE STILL HAVE TOMORROW! So I'm going to try to do a biking session tomorrow. If I do it, it will take me over that goal, too!... And then my legs will fall off, also. And then, since I'm such a fool, I've already signed up for the October Challenge. A whole new set of muscles to beat up on.... Oh joy. LOL Edited by D001 2007-09-29 6:42 PM |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: September - Swim and Bike challenge for Fall Tri's I finished today. I don't anticipate doing anything tomorrow as I finally got my husband's cold and I'm feeling like crap. Here are my totals for the month: Swim: 25,300 / 25,000 = 101.2% Bike: 102.38 / 100 = 102.38% A little over, but not much. Sorry Team East. |

That was the point of the Challenge. To challenge yourself. Actually, you more than met your goals. You were over 100% for both of them. Woohoo - if everone on East does that, then we probably won't be wearing those Twinkietars next month! Hope you're feeling better soon. (I think you have another challenge coming up. Running. Yuk.) Go EAST! |
