Subject: RE: Boston Marathon Watching ThreadOK, if getting a chance to run the Boston Marathon wasn't a crowning achievement in my young running career, finding this thread after the race only makes it all that much more special. Truly and sincerely, thanks for taking an interest in me on this. I did know a couple family members where watching my times, but didn't realize that I was part of the BT thread. I'm honestly touched by this. THANK YOU! As for TriToy - I couldn't find you. I stopped at the medical tent in mile 18 (on the left side near the top of the hill) and asked for you - they hadn't heard of you. I did see some medical people running around on the right side of the road. But Newton was really kicking my tail, so my searching efforts were very paultry. As for ChiRunner, dude - WE WERE IN THE SAME CORRAL!!! Small world to find this out now. It was strange realizing we were one of the last runners to cross the start line of the 20K runners. But imagine my delight when I passed a bunch of runners with blue bibs! ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/wink.gif) Seriously, you guys are top shelf! |
