East Coast Hipsters - May "President's Cup" challenge (Page 9)

Howdie Hipsters!

I got out for another long ride today, 42 miles. I started out into a headwind but figured that meant I'd get a tailwind boost on the back 20. The wind must have kept shifting because it seemed like I was riding into the wind the entire time. It was grueling. I won't make 62 miles if it's anything like this!

Most of my route today followed the same route as last week; went by my blue building and the "castle gate". 

My final rest stop:

Wow Nicole...that first picture looks just like my house and yard......NOT.  Great job on the ride today.  As I have said before you get to ride in some beautiful country...and with all that red on your bike....it has to be fast 

My yard doesn't look like that either, but I can be in that kind of area within 5 miles of home. 

Eric (medic0020) raced yesterday and got 3rd Clydesdale!  Great job Eric!!

I just took a look at the spreadsheet and here's where we are:

Current progress through month: 58.06%

Percent of goals done (as a team): 52.09%

We have a little bit of work to do!

This week I am all about kicking my own butt.

I am at over 75% complete now due to a killer swim today.  If I stay on my schedule on steroids I will hit 100% and then some this week.  And that is a LARGE IF!!!!

GREAT job Jenniferlyn.  I think it is OK to stay on the steroids...(I read the challenge bylaws and I didn't see anything about the winning team having to pee in a cup for testing    )

It's going well enough, Artemis.  I've got to get after it to reach 100 percent, but weather permitting, I'll knock out a good bit of the bike on Saturday. 

I see one of Team Central's own has come in here and thrown down the gauntlet.  East Coast has to answer and answer we will!  The West Coasters are in striking distance also.  International may be counting on a favorable exchange rate with the American distances to close the gap, but they're not out of it yet. 

Good luck to everyone on all teams.  This challenge has definately kept me motivated and going hard this month and I hope is has you all too.

Hmm...you should get your hearing checked.  When I looked last night, we were 0.27% behind you.
