It says on the top of the...chart..whatever you call it. 60sec on day one of the week 90secs on day two and 120secs on day three.

What I need to know is for the progress tests, do I rest a day before and after a make the test before I continue the workout plan?

I always do to make sure my arms aren't jello when trying to knock out a bunch at once!

Did my assessment today ~ 33!  Can you believe it?  A few weeks ago when I started, I did 7.  I will start the dreaded week 5 on Tuesday.  Yeah, I say dreaded but I'm totally stoked about where I'll end up.

Hey, did ya'll know that we've actually inspired others to do this challenge?  I've seen several people who are doing it behind closed doors (they just don't post anything here.)  I thought that was pretty cool.  Not to mention a certain someone who has their co workers pushing instead of actually working!!

Welcome to the newcomers (and those of you "rebooting" )!!!

Great job everyone!!!!

I would definitely recommend taking a day on both sides of the exhaustion test. Somehow I missed that I was supposed to do one after week 2, and when I went to start week 3 last night I noticed it. I did the exhaustion test- 33 yay me! I didn't want to get behind on my week though, so I did the first day of week 3 also. It was really tough, since I was already fatigued! Made it through, but just barely

Did the second progress test today and just squeezed out the 31 needed to move on to week 5. Decided to repeat week 4 in order to get a little stronger before I move on. So I guess for me it will be 100 pushups in 7 weeks! Oh well...

Day 1.5 week 1.  Ouch, lower abs sore.

Well one reason to do this thing was to beef up the core.  I guess it's going to do that. Smile

Well, wasn't able to complete all of Week 6 Day 1. What a beeatch that workout is. I was able to complete 45, 55, 27, 30, 43 which means I was short on set 3 and 5. Going to re-try on Thursday and see from there.

Nice job everyone!

I completed week 3 day 2 last night: 20, 25, 15, 15, 35 = 110

I'm certain I have never done 35 consecutive pushups in my life!

week4/day2:

Arms felt like garbage, did some girlie push-ups thrown in with the manly ones.
25, 20, 20, 18, 28 = 111

One Hundred Eleven pushups.  Abbie, that's pretty manly I'd say.

Week 5 Day 2

10/10/13/13/10/10/9/9/25 = 109

I was doing really well until the last two sets...I barely eeked out that 25.  I may be repeating this week just so I'm stronger starting week 6.

I've gotta check the chart for my next workout, but for this week I worked more on doing the best form and slow pushups rather than trying to quickly rep them and get a higher count.   I might even drop back a few weeks and work on form as I found it beneficial.
