I forgot.  This isn't a 'brag about the weather' thread.  Carry on whining.

Well, looks like the crap is back. It was a mostly pleasant 72 hours. At least the forecast for the weekend and beyond has improved some.

Next month's average high is in the 30's.  Enjoy these temps while you can.

It was awesome yesterday, ran in shorts.  Beautiful sun too   Will it last another day?

With the cooling weather and light fading earlier in the day, it makes me sad, I wish it would either warm up or get to winter. I about cried when I heard how much snow Colorado got. I love skiing/snowboarding so picking up tris gave me something to look forward as winter winds down, now I want it to be winter, although I have been training pretty solid the past few weeks regardless of weather.

No complaints lately - it's beautiful out there!  Love it.  Went for a ride yesterday and it was in the 40s and was great.  The sunshine really makes everything feel nicer.

Indeed!  Got our for ride yesterday and even had sunshine in addition to the warmer temps.  It's a little dreary today, but I'll take it.

x2 I'm an x-c skiier.  It's going to get cold, might as well have snow to play in.  These dry winters are yuck!

Loving the November weather...perfect for some long runs and -- if properly outfitted -- long bikes. Think about it...it hasn't been too breezy, 40's and sunny translates into cool traiining weather. Nice.

No whines here cause pretty soon its snowshoe running weather! And that, my friends, is uniquely a Minnesota triathlon training tradition...bring on the ice chunks.

I'm interested in snow shoes.  Must one buy "running snowshoes" or will a pair from Sportsman's Guide suffice?  They are kind of pricey to try once and maybe not like...   I know I can rent snowshoes at REI, but not sure if they are suitable for running.  Although I can imagine I would be doing much "running" at first...

I have a pair of Tubbs, but wanted more of a mountaineering model than running model.

Whining is ON.  You guys are really in for it, in the South.

I realized when I got to work today that I hadn't put my snow brush/scraper in my car   I have a tiny window scraper, but I will have to find something creative to bring out from my office to brush off the snow.  Great.

Looks like I picked a good 11 days to be out of town. It was 67 and raining down in the gulf coast today. Be safe up there everyone.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful.  And since we've no place to go, let it blow, let it blow, let it blow.

Had to modify it a bit since it quit snowing a while ago.

I just took 2 weeks completely off, and now that I want to run again, the sidewalks suck! Here are my feelings this morning:

http://iwannagetphysical.blogspot.com/2009/12/14-days-of-nothing-da...

Oh, and on a separate note, BIG THANKS to BikerGrrrl for dropping off a bunch of goggles, some visors, a lightweight jacket, and a great tri-top for the CVA Triathlon Club to use!! (I loosely "coach" any students that are interested in tri training at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul. Four students did their first sprint tri back in July.) I'll make sure it all goes to good homes! Thanks Emily!!!
