Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Kido - 2012-11-07 10:43 PM Just got done and I almost need to take a breather. That was intense! I don't know if Malcom did it on purpose, but as soon as he said he was going to play it, I thought it's the perfect time not to play it. It was a gamble for him, but not nearly as big if a gamble for the others to throw votes at him that could be wasted instead of a better target. Just like poker. It's not the cards you have, but it's what you can get people to think you have.Lisa tried to make a move and actually did the perfect thing at council. Just come clean with it.Abi. What can I say. Moron. And looks like she is going to force Lisa away next week too. She will let her ego get in the way of a million bucks. She would rather get payback, than get paid.I see Denise, Abi, and someone like Malcom in the finals. Denise is last on anyone's list right now. Malcom is a player, and abi (or Pete) will be brought because they won't get any votes to win. Sorry for the wall of text - iPad. That's the only thing I'm not so sure of. She is a fierce competitor. Gets along with EVERYONE. Speaks well, goes with the flow, and does not get rattled. She my not get a bunch of talk.... but everyone HAS to know she is the last person you want sitting next to you at final council. I hopr she is though, I really dig her. Great lady. |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Pete and Abi are MORONS! That is all. I am glad to have witnessed that episode, it was epic. I love Survivor! So much more interesting than everyone playing it close to the vest. Wow. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I really had high hopes for Pete when he planted that clue to break up Abi and RC, I thought he was going to be a smart player, but now I just do not care to watch him or Artis. I was glad Jeff Kent got booted off, but I loved his closing statements about how he made $60 million playing baseball but he wanted this million, even though it is only like $600K after Obama took his share! LOL
I am pulling for Malcom |

I am pulling for Malcom I thought that was funny too! So many of these players say over and over..."It's a MILLION DOLLARS!" and I am always thinking in the back of my head that really, after taxes, it's only about $600k-$700k! That isn't really enough to change your life as some of them make it out to be! That's enough to give you a good start at a retirement account and potentially change jobs to something you WANT to do vs HAVE to do (to make a certain amount of $$). But in the grand scheme of life, it isn't much! :D |

Nothing life changing for me.... but I would be pretty happy. I have never seen such a spectacle on Survivor.. with this many people, with so many splinters, and everything thrown out in the open. I felt they could have done more to change things up this season... but the cast just did that big time. It's going to be interesting from here. |

Even Probst made the comment that it was one of the most interesting (not sure he used the word interesting, but something like it) tribals he's ever seen in 25 seasons. I would love to see the full unedited version! He also pointed out that they missed a MEGA opportunity at that vote...I wonder exactly what he was referring to. Was he referring to the fact that they didn't oust an idol? Was he referring to the fact that they didn't get rid of Pete? I dunno...would be interesting to know which opportunity he was referring to, but for him to say that would be too much inteference in the game I think. Can't wait to get home and watch the Ponderosa videos! At least RC may have fun with Jeff at Ponderosa. They weren't on the same tribe so they will probably get along OK. It was really just her tribe that wanted her gone. |

Pay off my house and still have 300k left. So all my paycheck goes to ME, not the house - and that's for the next 30 years or so. |

If Pete ends op winning he could have been gone. Or if they would have at least got rid of Malcolms idol and he gets taken out... but now he is still alive and doing well. He is an immunity threat and he has a get out of jail free card. |

Maybe a LITTLE sneaky with hiding the clue. And now his attitude, and even his LOOKS are seeming sinistar to me? Dark, brooding, sulking. He just looks like a villian now when he looked like a hero at the start. |

Pay off my house and debts and I would have a LOT of disposable income. But it would not change my standard of living... still working middle class. Honestly, I play lottery from time to time. Our state lottery is only a few million. It would be great because I could not get into too much trouble. Power ball or mega millions... man, that's just too much. I would buy a ton of stuff, give a lot away, and get into a ton of trouble. Almost too many headaches.... and at the end of the day, I would still be me. A couple mil would be nice, not too complicated and a lot more comfort and peace of mind. |

It's going to be interesting from here. $300k earning 5% in a stock portfolio over 30 years will be worth a shade under $1.3 million, which will be yours since you used the other $300k to buy/pay off a house. I think I'd be willing to sit on an island, eat rice, and burn bridges for 39 days in exchange for that kind of nest egg. |

It just isn't enough to quit your job and retire on the spot. :D I think it would be the perfect amount of money for me at this point in my life. I could pay off both houses I own so that the income I do have would go farther every month (not having to pay two mortgages frees up a lot of cash). I could put a little bit aside to have some fun with (I mean, what is the fun of winning that much money without doing at least SOMETHING fun with it...like buy a new bike and take a dream vacation). That would still leave a decent chunk to set aside for a retirement account. |

I think people think they can win against Pete, Abi, and Artis and thats why they are keeping them around. Pete has a chance to win immunities but Abi and Artis don't do that well and both are like cancer. If I was there I would get rid of Pete and bring along Abi and Artis to the end. Even Pete realized how much of a B Abi is and that's why he is keeping her around. Watching the ponderosa videos of Jeff I'm glad he is gone. |

I think this is the case. She seems clueless. Malcom pulled his out and she followed suit. Malcom was very smart to pull it out because it forces their hand in that he is going to play it so don't bother voting for him move on to target b or c. Abi shouldn't have pulled it out. She is an idiot and I hope she gets herpes along with Pete. Artis just seems along for the ride with them. The only time they show him is when he's pissed.
Denise is playing a good game right now just lay low since she wasn't in anyone's "original" alliance and make a move in the last 6 or so if it looks good. She earned her way to the merge nobody can discount that.
Lisa is playing the game and I respect that but Pete is an idiot for outing her. Keep that under wraps until you have to out it. Kind of sad to see Jeff go because he was playing the game. Kind of a scumbag for going against his alliance with Penner but at least he wasn't just a vote for hire.
Next week should be good. GO PENNER |

Next week should be good. GO PENNER I find Jeff a bit hypocritical...he acts like only certain people should be allowed to play survivor (i.e. a returning player doesn't deserve to win), but was very worried that people would see him as former professional baseball player (i.e. because he's already famous and rich he shouldn't win). Where do these ideas come from that certain people shouldn't win or be allowed to play? |

![]() I've watched the last couple episodes with one eye on the internet, and one eye on the TV, if that. So I really can't follow along all the Machiavellian scheming going on. Has anyone mentioned Skupin's shirts? Seems to be a custom shirt, he has at least two different colors, showing what appears to be him riding a pig??? I also do not like returning characters, and I would also feel they had their chance, they should be voted off as soon as their usefulness has run its course. |
