I HATE THIS SALES PERSON!

Ugh - that sounds frustrating as hell!

I have a lawyer that I work with that has decided that communication from me is unnecessary.  So even though I emailed and verbally reminded him of a deadline on January 21, January 29, and February 5th... he's somehow surprised that it's due TOMORROW and that he's now in hot water with the client.

Good times.

This Sales Person is also an incredible micro manager, hence the reason he lost his employee and is now scrambling in his communications with the client even thought the previous employee sent this same friggen email with information at least 2-3x in the past month before he left.

This client is also a PITA.

Hey!  I resemble that.  Just signed up with a new gym today, so for the first time since last February I have a pool that I can get to during work hours.  Did what is essentially my first real swim since B2B (have I ever mentioned that I did a 140.6?) and I was about killing myself to do the 750y that I managed to get in, and I HURT.  Ho Lee Crap.

Came back to the new office (my company moved to a new building recently, hence the new gym) to find that the cafeteria had nothing better than gas station type sandwiches.  Ugh.  Chicken salad sandwich out of a plastic wrapper. Yay.

3 1/2 months to Alcatraz... time to figure out this SBR thing, again.

i didn't know you got into alcatraz!  that is awesome, enjoy it!

i swam for the first time in maybe 10 months this past friday.

Did it feel like starting over again to you?  It sure feels that way to me.

I threw my hat into the lottery on a whim and got lucky in the 2nd drawing.  I'm pretty stoked to be knocking out two bucket list events (it and B2B) in under a year's time.  The GF and I are flying out on airline miles and staying with friends the whole time, so it should be the most inexpensive race-cation, ever.  Paying to ship the bike is a pain, but less of a pain than assembling and disassembling it to fly with it (though, that is still an option).

Getting back in the pool after a long layoff the first 50 meters feels pretty good. Shortly thereafter feels like I'm swimming in place.

On a completely different note is it true Bruce Jenner is undergoing a sex change ?

it actually didn't - i kind of felt amazing.  but i think i had a big ego push - while i was swimming laps my pool was hosting a high school district swim competition.  i couldn't be out there struggling like a chump, so after the first 100 when that shoulder fatigue started in, i just pushed through to keep up appearances.  ahahahha!

In honor of the Olympics, Mother Nature has turned the hilly streets of Atlanta into a huge bobsled run.  It's getting real out there.

We are hunkered down with enough wine to last at least through Friday.  I think we will be ok.

Says the guy who lives in the state where the worst country music is made.....

Line dancing originated in Nashville.....where the lonely women would dance to crappy music.

This seems to imply that there is good country music - somewhere.

I was just through the Nashville area last week to spend a few days with the GF at her parent's house (just northeast of Sparta & Crossville, I think).  Anyway, on the way home we stopped at Monell's on 6th Ave for lunch.... OH EM GEE!  The t-shirts that they sell that say "HELP, I've eaten and I can't get up" are totally spot-on.  TONS of super-crazy-good southern eats!

The GF and I have actually joked about flying back in on a Saturday morning just to do the brunch.

You keel it, I bury it!

Last night I went to my first pro tennis tournament, it was cool and all but man, I hated how quiet everyone had to be. And the other thing is people cheered for a good point instead of cheering for they they wanted to win. Definately not my kind of "sporting" event.

I saw Leyton Hewitt and Sam Querry play.

It is going to be great having Pitt and Syracuse in the ACC.  I just like seeing great basketball.  We are going to the Georgia Tech BC game this afternoon (5:30) and have two extra tickets if anybody wants to go.  The game was postponed from yesterday.  JWKMH's sister and husband were here then and we bought an extra pair tickets so we could all go to the game.

Talk about bad timing.  We have two season tickets and so got an email from Georgia Tech early early on Wednesday saying that the game would be played and that the ACC never postpones games.  i bought the extra tickets on StubHub at 12:57.  I got another email at 1:22 that said the game was postponed.  It is not too much lost.  The tickets were sold way below face value, only $11 each, so I can just give them away.
