JOGO: I'm 3/3 as of today, and will be 5/5 by Sunday at noon!

Next week will be a challenge, as I have shizz to do after work on Monday and Tuesday and no structured morning group workout (which is the only thing that gets me out of bed in the AM to exercise). JOGO will have to be my surrogate group work out. I'm thinking yoga Monday AM, given the race-filled weekend, and an easy run Tues AM. please hold me accountable!

JoGo Challenge!
We are doing another JoGo Challenge.  Participation is optiona.  Joanne is our JoGo coordinator and she plans to post weekly updates.   Please post here or in your log when you get your "jogo" on.

JoGo description:  "the challenge is 30 days of 30+ minutes of anything that is mindfully active.  What do I mean by that?  It means that walking to the mailbox, like you do every day, does not count.  It has to be something that is off the couch (you can do something like yoga or walking even on a rest day) EVERY DAY!!!"  (This challege will be going on until roughly the end of June)

GO MANATEES!!!! I particularly like Brie's Will Run For Beer race Janyne, another stellar job - Gunnar even made the DL list !

This works.

Yes! I like the idea that you have some assessments -- a baseline and then a re-assessment to measure progress. Excellent!

Good luck racers this weekend. I love June - August because we always have someone to cheer for.

I am so tired. I think the weather this week took a lot out of me. I don't realize how stressful it is until I walk outside and see clear blue sky. I breathe so much easier when I'm not constantly looking at cloud formations and assessing wind direction. And now I just want to sleep (without one ear open for sirens).

We're in Shawnee, but hearing tornado warnings on the radio for several MO counties makes me tense. Like I need to pull over and hear ALL the instructions. That's why I love earthquakes... No time to stress beforehand. hehehe

I understand. You are closer to the current action than we are. Our skies are blue, but to the east, I can watch the cells forming.

Looks like much of the storm system going through the midwest is just barely going to miss where I'm at. South end of the county might get hit, but I'm farther up. We've had some rain, but nothing extraordinary.

Wondering how to log "demolition work" as my parents needed some help redoing their bathroom. Been awhile since I've done that kind of thing.

Where are you all? I like that it's still semi-light at 9:00 here. I can go out for a run at 8:00 without a head lamp. :-)

I'm in central Arkansas. One missed us by 4 miles and the other petered out about the same distance away. I think we are all clear for today, but will likely have the same weather pattern come through Saturday (while I'm volunteering at the Tour de Rock and then the Crohn's and Colitis walk). We LOVE that it stays light so late. We (me or the hubbs) can get in a full day at work AND still run or ride.

I hope things are going well for you this evening. This current system looks horrible. Be safe.

Is there more coming behind this? The current monster is just missing where I'm at. Slight shift and it'll be right on this area, but will likely just see some isolated stuff.

According to the weather reports I saw, looks like craziness all night. I need a good old AZ haboob to make me feel better. Haboob is worth looking up if you don't already know

We have just rain developing right now, but the thing that you are currently dealing with is just incredible. I'm glad it sounds like it is going to miss you. OKC is getting dumped on.

Wow, what a list for the weekend. Go racers!!! Stay safe MidWesterners!!! Keep healing if you are on the DL!

Ben, I believe that logging should be done for house demo. I'm sure your parents are thankful that you are helping them out.

We have a ton of stuff on tap this weekend, but I did get the bike out for nearly 1.5 hours this morning, so the JoGo streak lives. Tomorrow will be a 5 mile run.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!
