Hope everyone is doing well, Thanks again for everyone's help and company. David I don't think I got that email...hmmm
I sent them an email since I could not order my package, the video clip did not include me. They fixed it a week later when the price went up. I hope they will offer the reduced price as $115 - $129 is too much for only 8 or so pictures. Fred , I thought the same thing about the price, I only have 7 or 8 photos. Oh nice decals. David |

Same here. I emailed them this morning asking what gives? Make sure you look through all of the lost and found. I found 3 more photos and I've asked them to include them. So far, they have not. In their defense, I am sure it is hard to deal with 2K people and 50K photos from one event. |

Other 2 IM races I have done with the same photo company I paid at the race site and I was able to down load them within a week. They'll figure it out. I usually put them in my RR so it is still in progress. |

Regular 165 | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread Alright, goofy question time: For those of you that bought finisher gear (jackets, sweatshirts, etc), are there places you will and will not wear these items out in public? Its funny, but after the race, I couldn't wait to buy my finisher jacket. Now, I feel funny going out with a big FINISHER on the back of my coat. Not embarassed, just feel weird. |

Its funny, but after the race, I couldn't wait to buy my finisher jacket. Now, I feel funny going out with a big FINISHER on the back of my coat. Not embarassed, just feel weird. After my first IM I wanted to wear my “stuff” everywhere. Now the only place I wear the IM stuff is at IM venues. I wear 70.3 stuff at 70.3 venues (I do not wear IM at 70.3 it feels like gloating almost). After a while I figured out the only folks that either care or even understand IM is fellow tri-athletes or the families who have been through the training/race process. Besides all that… I want to wear my “stuff” for as many years as possible, this means keeping my weight down and not wear out the wardrobe.
Hats are the exception I wear these everywhere when I’m not wearing my cowboy hat.

New user 29 Fayetteville | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread I found myself not wanting to wear my t shirts and beanie so that I wouldnt wear them out. By the way, does anyone need a 10% discount code for ASI? I spent a lot of money on photos but decided to get my mother something from them. I had to call and request a discount code using the reasoning that I already spent hundreds. Here it is if you need it: "reorder" |

Expert 977 | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread That is why I don't buy a lot of finisher stuff. I figured I already bought a hat and shirt, didn't need much else. Next year I'll buy the 2011 bike jersey for half price. Learned that a long time ago. too easy to buy a ;lot of stuff in the excitement of the event. OK, I FINALLY posted my race report. I had it completed a long time ago just has issues posting it from home. http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=415237 Thanks everyone for all your support - made it a GREAT day. Its funny, but after the race, I couldn't wait to buy my finisher jacket. Now, I feel funny going out with a big FINISHER on the back of my coat. Not embarassed, just feel weird. I bought a Finisher's jacket and haven't worn it yet. Now that you mention it, I'll probably only wear it to triathlon/race related venues. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sweatshirt hoody and wear it anytime and anywhere weather permits! I've worn my finisher's shirt to the gym a couple of times, but most people don't know what it is or what it means anyway. I'm going to wear it when I return to Body Pump class tomorrow for the first time since IM training because I'm sure the instructor thinks I've been slack by not coming to class. I need the shirt to prove I've been BUSY! |

Expert 663 Williamsburg, VA | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread I guess I'm a big geek because I wear my shirt all the time. I also bought the light TYR one and wear that too. I've actually had a few comments! I love the jacket. I just wish they would have had better long sleeve tec shirts like my friend had from 09. |

Expert 1148 Santa Fe, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread For some reason, it wasn't till after my second IM that I felt like I really earned it. I love my finisher jacket (from the second IM), and it's very appropriate for the weather we usually get around here. I wear it quite a bit, but not any time when I think people will think I'm wearing it just to brag. I had a lovely conversation with a check out girl in the supermarket the other day. She just asked, "did you really do it?" Fun conversation. Mostly no one says a thing. I do wear the hat every time I run though. helps me stay motivated. |

Champion 19812 MA | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread After each of my Ironman race I wear IM stuff every day for awhile. More IMs less I do that. I don't work so wear casual clothes most days. Different folks feel differently about how they did and if they are 'worthy' of wearing IM gear. I have a IMLP sweatshirt on right now. |

Veteran 212 Commerce, Georgia | Subject: RE: Ironman Florida : Official Thread Well the T-shirt they gave me was a woman's large and way way tight on me with the shoulder seams up on top of my shoulder..ha,,I will cut the sleeves off and it will look ok... Got my 1st tat at age 56..My 1st Ironman is worthy of an M Dot.. Got it on the back of my right calve. I had it done in dark blue at the bottom fading up into a lighter blue and then to white at the top of both the M and the Dot. Below I put "Florida" with the "sun" just like the official logo. Below that the year 2011. I wear it with pride and seem to run with more power now.... Saving room below this for the next Ironman races I do... I also upgraded to a new bike - 2011 Trek Speed Concept 7.0 Tri bike. Now I can ride a bit faster than my ole 94 Kestrel 200SCI that took me through Ironman Florida. Not sure when I will be back to Florida (Loved that race), but want to do a different one every 2 years. Louisville or Madison next then the one I don;t do of these 2 will be in the next 2 years, then want to do Lake Placid, Coeur d'Alene and Canada...Like I said ,, 1 every 2 years . I might be 70 years old before I make it back to Panama City Beach"for the Ironman" anyway. I plan to go down visit the beach and a few of the great resturants I ate and drank at....ah,,and go for a swim in the beautiful water.... |
