What a sweet sweet SWEET game that was, my fault for the 1 goal, I said the forbidden "shutout" I was promply punched as soon as it went in, sorry Canada.

As a goalie, I sincerely hope that the punch was not a light, wussy-esque "love-tap" either.




I freaking HATE when people say the "S" word at the end of a game. Almost as much as I hate defensemen that feel the need to tip clear shots from the point into the upper corners.

Canada will probably SHUTOUT Sweden for the gold. the goalie is so good Sweden will likely get SHUTOUT. A SHUTOUT by Canada would be nice, eh? I'd like to give a SHOUTOUT to my homeboys in da grizeat whizite nizorth!

I wish the average hockey fan/player knew just how much of goaltending is mental. The only other thing I can compare with goaltending at a high-level would be making 5-6 foot putts in golf when a lot of money is on the line. (Or even a little money back when I was poor )

A lot of people have the physical ability. Very few have the mental toughness required to use that ability when it matters.
