maggyruth - 2008-04-13 9:27 AM I was looking at the breakdown of registrants...more women need to do this race!

Agreed but check any BT IM race thread and it is usually 75%+ men.

They don't seem to have it up yet which is unusual, normally they have it going at least 30 minutes before the race start.  C'mon IronmanLive...get your act together, this isn't your first rodeo!

I am still not awake yet?  I go to Ironman live and can't find the video feed under race coverage or Audio/video.  Just see interviews and course explorer etc.

What am I missing?

From IRONMAN Live website:

During tomorrow's video coverage we're planning on providing a lot more race footage in addition to our regular updates and finish line coverage.

Here's our planned schedule:
We'll do our first live update at 7AM, followed by hourly video updates from the finish line area.

At 11 AM (Pacific time) we'll show last year's Ford Ironman Arizona television coverage.

At 12 noon (Pacific time) we'll begin our live coverage, including video footage from the swim, bike and run courses. We'll stay live through to midnight.

From Ironman Live site

"Video updates will occur every hour until 11 AM (Pacific), when we will be running a recap of last year's race. This year's show will begin at noon (Pacific) and go until the last finisher crosses the line!"

Bonney takes the lead

RACETIME: 00:21

Now swimming on the return leg, James Bonney is leading the race, with Rene Goehler right behind.

About 60 m back is a group of three which is being led by TJ Tollakson. On his feet is Jonathan Caron.

Then there's a group another 40 m behind them made up of about 10 swimmers. We're guessing that our women's swim leader is in that group -- probably including Michellie Jones and Hillary Biscay.
