Pre-race routine:

Packed the night before the race, which was probably the easiest thing I have ever done. Shoes, socks, garmin, towel, hat.

Got to the race about 1.5hrs early. I had no idea where I was going and did not want to be late. As I turned into the Resort I saw a sign "Beware Nudity maybe see beyond this point". Probably should have said will be seen beyond this point. I was apprehensive of what I might see but figured you only live once. As I near the campground there are naked people everywhere. Park my car and figure what the heck, got naked and went to get my packet. Race numbers were applied to your chest by a naked old lady. Threw the packet in my car and went to HANG out by the pool. Tried to avoid sizing up my competition (lol).
Event warmup:

Ran a mile and stretched some. This was tricky to do with no clothes on but most people did not rally mind. Toe touches, stradle and touch ground, name it you saw it.

Comments:

Figured by the people there and prior years I would place pretty well but you never really know. There was a bunch of young college kids there who ran X-country so I knew they would probably kill me. There were actually quite a few people who wore some for of clothing also. A few started to shed some as the race went on. Gun went off and 130 nake people wend running down the road. Started out probably 15th and went out way to hard. First mile went fine but there was a decent hill to run up that killed a few people in front of me that I was able to catch. 2nd mile was through the woods pretty much and the field was stretch out by that point. Really did not see many people. Past the last couple people I would see heading into 3rd mile. 3rd mile was pretty flat and mostly though a meadow. Running nake through a field is pretty liberating. Don't think I would want to do it all the time but would be fine to do again. Saw a guy gaining on me so my goal was to beat him. Never thought I would be running from a naked guy. Finished right at 23min. Stood around and cheered on other runners.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. It was a blast.
Post race
Warm down:

Went to the pool and swam a little but it was pretty cold and waited for awards. The awards ceremony was in the little lodge and there was probably 150 people standing around. You had to walk up to get your award/picture. Kind of strange but never thought I would get a standing ovation while naked.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Trail run with curves.

Event comments:

The was a blast. I highly recomment a nude run to anyone. After 10 minutes you really are immune to all the old, fat, naked people.

I'm hoping there wasn't too much drafting during this race.  Great race.

Yes, that was a strategically placed attempt to be funny.  I figured someone would catch it.  This type of race leads to sooo many possible jokes.  One I left out was "I started to get cocky when______ (fill in the blank)."

Actually at one point I was running behind a guy out of insinct and then realized what I was doing so passed him pretty quickly after that.

This is too hilarious.  I'm sitting in my office LMAO.  It's obvious to my co-workers that I'm not working.

Congratulations on your AG win!

Sweet!  I'm glad I didn't show up to this one.  Conversation would've been, "Umm, hey Ken".  "Hey, Clint".  And we'd walk away....

But seriously, do you really get used to the old, naked people after just 10 minutes???

Yeah, conversations there were minimal and I like to talk.  No way I was going to approach a guy and talking to the young girls would have made me look like a perve.

Really was not that bad, you did get used to it pretty quickly.

Great job winning your AG!!!! Where did they hand the award... exactly?
