Comments: Good Swim, hit target time. Got a bit flustered at start and didn't start HRM properly, hence no HR data - bit disappointed. What would you do differently?: Swim faster, turn on HRM properly. relax at start ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Tried to put HH Top on, went badly wrong and all caught up on my back where I couldn't reach it to pull it down or take it off - very annoying What would you do differently?: Use a Tri suit. ![]() Bike
Comments: Good bike for weather conditions What would you do differently?: Drink more. Need to work on hills, lost all places on hills ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Good transition, however no shoe change required this time. ![]() Run
Comments: A hard run, very wet and the hail for the first 7 minutes didn't help. What would you do differently?: Not a lot ![]() Post race
Warm down: Some stretching and getting warm and dry What limited your ability to perform faster: The weather!! Also I have just caught the flu which took full hold yesterday so I wasn't feeling great. T1 was a bit slow and i would make changes there. Got up at 0915. Porridge & honey with OJ/Water mix. Also started drinking PSP22 at 10%(1 litre over 3hrs) + more oj/water mix
