Elite  3290     Oliver, BC, "Wine Capital of Canada" |  Subject: Curious I am.Just wondering if your relationship with other BC members of BT began before or after joining BT. In other words did any of you know each other before BT? |

This one lady said she needed help on an internet site and some how I ended up meeting her in a quiet, out of the way park. Turns out she wasn't crazy, but she did follow me around for 20 minutes, claiming that she didn't really know how to ride her bike. I didn't quite believe hers but have since decided she is extremely cool. Then, I met this guy on line and I told him where I lived and he picked me up and took me to spend the night at his house. At first I thought it was kind of sketchy, but then the next morning he took me on the ride of my life with other people just as Then these two other women, who said they knew the first guy decided to follow me around on a Saturday morning. After we were exhausted from the chase, we sat down for coffee and it turns out they were cool. One enticed me to follow her into icy waters, and another seduced me into her world of bike racing. So yup, everyone I met via this site. And now my biggest problem is I have to many friends to ride with. |

I suspect that I may have met Jeni if it wasn't for BT as I know a lot of people in her riding club. I was discussing this with some friends not on BT not too long ago and I said, "You know, I kind of met you guys via the internet too." You joined a ride that my club does and you found the ride though the internet and that's how I met you, so I guess it isn't uncommon as we might think. I don't know about sleeping over at some guys house though.... |

It's like that line from Ghostbusters ... The first time I met Chris I think I said "Are you The Hazmaster?" in an incredulous but nervous and surreal kind of way ... Although I like to think I look nothing like Rick Moranis. |
