Everytime I see her name, I think of Lance's Ex, who runs and writes for RunnersWorld.

Yea for Kristen Armstrong.  GOLD MEDAL.

In all the pictures I've seen, she rides a Cervelo.  Haven't seen the race in Beijing yet, so I'm not sure...

Oh, I wondered if that's who that was. Interesting.

Cool about the other K.A. though

During the Tour, there was a commercial that she did for Cervelo that mentioned how they only have one bike design; not multiple designs including ones specifically for women (a dig at Trek, Giant, and Specialized).  She claimed that one of the reasons she chose her current trade team is because they ride Cervelos.

I wanna be like her when I grow up. Seriously, congrats to her. It's an awesome win for U.S. women's cycling. And the picture from that link with her standing on the podium with the Great Wall in the background is very cool.

Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red...

Whoo whoo! I wanna be her too!

And thank goodness NBC decided to give a little prime-time coverage to women's TT...even if it was only 10 minutes.
