What a game...while I am certainly sad about the outcome, I'm glad for the Patriots and all of you who are Pats fans.  It's been a fun 2 weeks trash talking with all of you....maybe we can do it again next year.

Congratulations!

Unbelievable game. Philly showed that they did belong there.  Another 3 point superbowl win for the patriots. Maybe next year they'll blow out the NFC?

Congratulations to the Patriots.  They deserve to be put in the dynasty column of the NFL's history book.

I'm not sure how I feel yet today.  On the one hand, this reallyhurts; on the other hand, it's only a football game.  On the one hand,it was great that the Eagles made it to the Super bowl; on the other hand, this game was clearly in reach.

MVP of the game:  The Patriots offensive line.  They gave Brady the time he needed to do what he does best.
MPV (mistake prone player):  Donovan.  You can't through three interceptions in the Super Bowl and expect to win the game.
Unanswered question:  What happened to hurry up football and two minute drills?  Maybe the Eagles coaching staff are operating at a higher level and creating a new end-of-game strategy, but they have a lot to answer to today.

OK, so when do pitchers and catchers report?

Congrats to the Pats.  Disappointing for us Eagle fans again.  Both defense's lived up to billing, but I'm with Don.  I think the Pats offensive line really took over for chunks of the 2nd half--giving Brady lots of time and allowing some clock-eating drives in the fourth.

If you're a Phillies fan, I'm not sure you want to know.

Tedy Bruschi has to be the most under-rated player in the NFL. The guy goes to the Pro Bowl this year, only because someone else can't make it. He plays for 2 million per year as a result of his own contract negotiation...he ought to be making 5 times that amount. If the rest of the Eagles team played with the determination of T.O. they might have won the game. I was inclined to give him MVP of the game in a losing cause.

Condolences to Eagles fans. It was a good game, but McNabb was just a little off (seems funny to say when he threw for 357 yards!).  Even with that, I think the game was within reach with better clock management which could have avoided the need for an on-side kick at the end of the game.
