Subject: RE: Cervelo Dual vs P2SL The P2SL replaced the dual as the entry level bike. It has a slighty more aero frame. But in order to keep the costs close, they had to get the money from somewhere and that's in components. The aerobar deck is way cheaper on the p2sl as are the wheels and the crank is different (lower brand/grade). They also have the anodized paint option (really hard to scratch or damage) instead of the gloss. Derailers and shifters are still same, duraace or ultegra depending on model. The seat is some generic profile design comfort seat as well. My buddy has a dual from 2 years ago while I have a new p2sl so we've done all the inspecting. I lucked out and got the duraace/anodized version but downgraded to ultegra and saved a few hundred bucks. |
