Hey there!!!

Looks like there is a small group of really, really good looking people doing the Copper Triangle on Monday.

Dime, Julia Purr, my friend Laura and a few others will be leaving the the Starbucks near the Copper exit at about 8-8:30... there will be an optional run brick and then margs brick after the ride.

The ride is about 80 miles with 6000 feet of climbing. We will be going fairly easy and there are stops along the way.

If you haven't done this ride it is frickin' beautiful and challenging. A light jacket and perhaps gloves are recommended.

Did I say that this is an offensively good looking ride... be one of the pretty people and join us!

Being offensively handsome, I am highly qualified for this ride.  I will meet you at the Starbuck's at 8 am.

Can we be ready to ride at 8:30 am?  Meeting between 8-8:30 sounds suspiciously like starting a ride sometime after 9 am, and I want to get home to hang out with my family by a reasonably early afternoon time.

Sounds like great fun, but my 20 year old daughter has guilted me into agreeing to "family time" on Monday.  Don't know where she gets such ideas -- I blame television   Her teenage brothers will not thank her, I'm sure.  Have a great time!!

Yay!  He said I can go!  Yay!

Anyone want to carpool from the Littleton area?  I can get two bikes in the back of my truck on racks...

I am totally in, I have been stuck working 18 hour days for the DNC convention and I am dying to get back on my bike!

Wait, do I have to be judged good looking enough first??

I dont care, bring a brown bag for me if I am too ugly!!!

I think I'm down for this, but you may have to take it easy on me as I've got a pretty big weekend planned. With Meg leaving for the weekend I got miles on the mind.

So Adam made a good point cuz everyone knows that I am always late...

Here is the plan: Meet up at Starbucks at 8:00... try to get going by 8:15, but if you are running late, call me (303-818-0776) and we will wait until 8:30. But we leave no later than 8:30, DimeTime.

The group is getting large which is awesome! More is better! For the most part I don't intend to go hard because I think I'm racing a trail half marathon on Saturday and I suppose I will be toast. Still, the group will probably splinter into multiple groups. I suggest if you haven't done the course to print out a map just in case... ( http://www.coppertriangle.com/maps.html).

At this time we are:
DickDime, Julia - juliapurr, Laura - not on BT, but wicked fast, cute too, Dave - KiloDave, Adam - Gearwhore, Jen - Jldicarlo, Steve - Breckview, Drew - Drewulu, Ray - Raise99 and Julia has some friends that may be coming and I have my friend Rachel who may join and my friend Eric who is thinking about it.

So yeah, lots of abilities... this should be a lot of fun!

Join us... you know you are sexy enough!

The out of towner needs SLIGHTLY better directions.

So, I'm guessing I take I-70 toward Copper (how long does it take to get to the Copper exits from C-470????).  But once I get to copper, about where is this magical Starbucks?

C-470 to Copper exit should take you around 60-75 minutes.  Exit Copper Mountain/Leadville exit and at the 2nd light hang a left to the Conoco/Quiznos/Starbucks.
