From the USAT website: "Male athletes weighing over 185 pounds and female athletes weighing over 145 pounds may choose to race in a category known as "Clydesdale" (for men) or "Athena" (for women). The Clydesdale Commission (also known as Team Clydesdale) is working to provide more racing opportunities for larger athletes."
