Subject: I am Finanly a TRIATHLETE

NO FLATS, was the objective.  Objective met. 

I was very excited to race and finish.  I was happy to be official in all respects; I am now an official triathlete, and an official cool kid.  Thanks to all the cool kids who have been such a big help in my training efforts.  Thanks so much for all the encouragement, and support.  A big thanks to Cody (oxofthedessert) who got me started on this path. 

I am looking forward to more training and racing and seeing my times get better.

CONGRATS! I too popped my tri cherry today.

 

I got home and put my USAT sticker on the back window of my car. I've had it for over a month now but I wanted to wait until I had done a triathlon to put it on.

 Congrats Kevin! You had a good race for your first one. Also, I am glad I finally got to meet in person at the finish.

Great job to all first timers - now it is time to get addicted to all that great gear, enjoy bike envy at transitions, discover all the new places for body glide, wonder why you din't start this earlier, and think about how long you have to wait to sign up again!
