Whizz and Lazymarathoner are through the first 40 on the bike!  They are slow on the updates. I have a friend's husband racing and he was through 50+ miles without the 40 mile cutoff being updated.

Did anyone catch where we can download the race video? I only see the 2008 highlights on the site and even that isn't the same video they gave out. I was bummed there was no DVD this year.

Just wanted to give a big congrats to those who finished their 1st IM last Sunday and those who finished!

Also to those who DNF'd like me, we gave it our best, and sometimes in a Ironman that isn't good enough, but that is why we do them!

No DVDs.  Supposedly will have to download somewhere, but I haven't looked yet.

Conditions were brutal.  I'm sad to hear of those that were not able to make it to the finish line.

Did anyone else notice the tiny amounts of gatoraid and water per cup on the run. At one aid station I poured 5 cups into one and it still didn't fill the cup. That being said, great race support and volunteers. It sure felt humid to me. Maybe to I've lived to long at elevation/low humidity.

Anyone track down the location of the aforementioned DVDs, or know how we can purchase/download our finish videos?

Last year it was on iTunes if you subscribed to the N.A. Sports podcast. It is not this year.

Does anyone have any actual temperature readings from race day? I know it felt like 100 degrees, but I'd like to know what it actually was.

Just wanted to send out a big "Thank You" to all that volunteered, spectated, and screamed their lungs out in support of all of us that did IMWI on Sunday. It was an awesome day that was made much more special by you folks who helped out and motivated us in every way imaginable.

Thanks,

Pat

Heh.  I noticed that, too.  Kind of strange.  My plan was to always take two cups, but I had to take three or four to get the 8 oz I wanted.

I think I had one gatorade, because I was desperate for something to drink at the time.  I really don't like to touch that stuff.

ASIPhotos have the lost and found section up.  After looking through 2065 photos, man, my eyes are strained.  They had a LOT of pics that didn't turn out well, pose/position/camera angle-wise.  You would expect BETTER service/quality, wouldn't you?
