You will have to pry Sears Tower out of my cold dead hands...

Just for your info, it will never be called Willis tower, except in the media...

Just like Invesco Field at Mile High.  Maybe on TV, but no locals call it that.  Just mile high stadium...  Or at least I hope they haven't been brainwashed yet.

"Sears Tower opened in 1973 as the corporate headquarters for Sears Roebuck & Co., but the company left for Hoffman Estates in 1992. Its rights to the name on the tower expired a few years ago."

I don't owe Sears jack. I still shop there, sometimes, but their poor financial situation compared to 1973 definitely does not deserve icon status.

Willis Tower is Willis Tower. So what, besides being another example of a once respectable company running themselves down? (flame-suit on)

You live west of the Mississippi, so you don't get a vote on the Sears Tower.

This is all just a brilliant plot by the Department of Homeland security to confuse terrorists, isn't it?

Terrorist #1: "Ahkmed said to blow up SEARS Tower. This sign reads WILLIS Tower!"

Terrorist #2: "We tried. Let us go to strip club instead, Allah be praised!"
