Had fun. Lots of people, wow! This was my first big road race. Felt like a sheep running in a herd.

YES!!!!!!! I was stoked I ran 26:59. With being sick I was hoping to just run under 28 min. I took the first mile easy and sped up each mile as I felt fine. I finished with quite a bit in the tank, which felt great. I think I could have held that pace for a 10K. I guess my legs got a good rest this week being sick. Also maybe taking a shot of DayQuil before the race is a secret weapon. LOL

Having the corrals helped, but it was still crowded and too many people started in the first few corrals that need to start way in the back!!!  So I still spent the entire race bobbing and weaving through the crowd!

I had low expectations for this race since I am just coming back to running, and since I have been having problems breathing these days!!!  But I bought a Primatine Mist inhaler last night, and used it last night, this morning at 3:30 and before the race at 6:30.  Seems to help me get rid of the wheezing!!!  I knew there was NO way of coming close to last years time of 8:07 min miles, so my goal was to be close to 9, ecstatic if I could be under 9, and I beat my expectations with 35:57 ...an 8:34 min mile.  Just about the same as my first Pat's Run 2 years ago. I'll take it!!!

Great job, everyone.

I ran the race in 34:07 not bad considering I haven't run in a month nursing a hammy strain....still trying to drop those last 5 lbs. to get under 200, but I'll take it for now

Good lord people, you all make me feel so slow. I ran it in 43:50. And that was pretty good for me!

Good Job All!!! Wow there are some very fast people in our forums. Some of those times just amaze me and make my jaw drop. I did it in 36:19 pushing the kiddo in stroller which shocked me because I have been sick. Had to dodge a lot folks. I won't lie it felt good passing people while pushing a stroller uphill.

I'm hoping you were running with a stroller, because if you walked it with a stroller and beat me by 8:10 then I need serious help with my run.
