Maybe I will just do 2 loops of that then.  It's a 30 mile loop, right?

I am SOO SAD to miss this but Lance just announced he will be at The Tour of the Gila this weekend. I cannot pass that up. Gotta go support my man.

So cool of you (Dean and Kim) to offer this up, am sure someone else will jump on our spots. THANKS AGAIN and have fun everyone!!!

(It was a tough decision between Lance and the ESCKTC, REALLY!!!)

Can I get a pass? Not sure if i'm doing the ride yet... I'd rather get something longer in without waking up at 5.

OK - just so I know how many passes I have left, this is who I have coming to the Gardens on Sunday:

John and Ann
Melanie
Rick (are Shelly and little tyke coming too?)
Robin

Anyone else?

Anyone who doesn't want to ride with us (Ann, Shelly, Robin?) could meet us at 8:45 a.m. in the FARTHEST EAST parking lot (they have a bunch of little parking lots - let's all park all the way at the end so it's easiest to find each other and because they tend to block off the lots to the west until the east lots get filled).

For breakfast, you can either bring your own goodies or we can eat in the Patio Cafe (opens at 8 a.m.)

Don't forget your cameras! Should be a fun day!

Ooh, good reminder. I need batts. And I think since Ann is coming we'll prolly eat in the cafe, then do the stroll.

I would like to attend this as well. Is there room for one more?

I'm down for whatever length ride we can get in. And I would like to have breakfast after in the cafe.

Sign me up! Don't worry if there aren't enough passes, I don't mind paying to see the exhibit.

Yes, the ride begins and ends at Desert Botanical Gardens. We'll try to be ready to roll at 7 a.m. (I'm notorious for being late, but will try to get there early!)

Thanks Kim and Dean for putting this together. Had a great time. (Does anybody know how many miles we ended up riding or how long?)

You'd have to check with Kim's Garmin, I had 25 miles and like 1:22, but that includes the hill stuff and the trackbacks we did, I'd guess maybe 21 or 22 for y'all?

Fun times today!  Thanks everyone that came out and made it a good ride.  BTW, it was about a 22 mile loop.

According to my Garmin, I rode for 1:33:16, 22.18 miles for an average of 14.27 mph. It was set to Auto Pause when I stopped (which I did plenty of times).

I wish there was a function to keep the overall time too, because we were out there more than 2 hours and missed Robin Bobo who was on time to meet us at the gate at 8:45 a.m., but we were late by almost half an hour (sorry Robin!).
