Master  1563    Chicago |  Subject: Chicago Rock and Roll 1/2 MarathonAny of you doing this? I signed up last night...I think it's because I got so fired up watching The Biggest Loser the other night and realized that I haven't done a 1/2 in 4 years, and never done a marathon. I also really wanted to sign up when I heard it was coming here, since I did the RNR 1/2 out in Phoenix the first year. I want to try to drop some significant time off my last 1/2 that was a month before my scheduled bunionectomy, so fingers crossed, with some hard work, I hope I can do it!

Master 1376 Chicago | Subject: RE: Chicago Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon My wife and I are both running it along with several of our friends from CARA. Should be a good time. I need to go under 1:50:59 to get into a corral for the Chicago Marathon.
Hopefully they measure it correctly this year. Last year, when it was the Chicago Distance Classic, the course was .4 miles long, they admitted they mis-measured it. That didn't help with trying to get a PR. |
