And as luck would have it July 4th is some sort of big day I guess. Yep, party conflict but the wife said I was clear to race Trilogy 2! Have fun as I will look forward to another novel race report. |

I'll offer to trade my long sunday ride for it. I did my first serious tri there in Feb of last year. The pond's kinda yuck, but the ride's short and closed and the run is short. That's it. I'm in! Pending the clearance from my lovely wife. |

Only person I met there was Leonora (Velorider) and I only knew who she was because she shared my bike rack and I saw her a few times before looking at the time sheet. Next time we all race Tradewinds, we'll have to mark a BT on our arms or something. By the way Leonora, you had a great time for that heat. I was aiming for 1:05 but the heat ruined me on the run. Did anyone else end-up in the seaweed in the middle of the pond? I was slogging through that crap for about 30 seconds... |

That was annoying. Agree it was hot and I started in last wave which added to the run issues you mentioned. Overall though, fun race. Was well put together and seemed like the Bike had less problems than last race a few weeks ago, maybe due to the waive splits/Dualthon start? Great job everyone who raced and agree that need to see BT tent or at least get together one of these races. |

It sounds like Yosef and I were the lucky ones who got to stay home and work in order to avoid the weeds! No, I would have loved to have been there. I am packing the bags this weekend to attend the second trilogy race on the 19th so maybe we can test the BT body marking/tent/loud speaker system or whatever other ideas we all have in order to meet up. Velo, still waiting to see your race report from this one. Since it is almost a week I am sure it is another epic. |
