Anyone know of such a spot in the DC area?  Obviously nothing real close to DC that I can think of.

Just need a long stretch of uninterrupted road with a decent shoulder on both sides of the road.

Southern Maryland has some roads like that.  Route 5 in St. Mary's County south of Leonardtown has probably 20 miles without a light and all with a shoulder.

From DC is that over the bridge, i.e. Church Creek, Eagleman area?  Or is it on this side?  (bad with MD geography)

This side of the bridge.  It's this whole 'nother part of Maryland that lots of people don't realize exists.  Due south of DC.

Rt 123 and Rt 7100 have some fairly nice stretches on them without interruption. Most stop lights are usually green by the time I get to them anyways, so I can typically go 15-20 miles with out stopping or touching the brakes (much).

Just outside of LaPlata, MD is a great 25ish mile loop.  Route 6 to 232 to 5 to 488 and  back to 6.  Very wide shoulders, and some nice long rolling hills.  I like to run sections of route 6 when I'm up there, whole time wishing I had my bike.

Check it out sometime.

Prince William County Park has a nice loop that's about 10 miles with a wide bike lane and few cars. Costs about $6 I think to get in and there are a few tough but short hills. As for uniterrupted riding, it's great. Exit 150 off of 95 South.
