Subject: RE: Moving to Denver... need help! Are you looking for a house, a condo, or an apartment? How much are you looking to spend? The area from Wadsworth to west of Kipling just north of Hampden has some nice spots for any of the three that I mentioned. It's right near the Bear Creek bike path which can get you to the Platte River path or the 470 path for some decent riding. It's close to Bear Creek park, which has some trails for running and/or biking and you can swim in Soda Lakes, I believe. It's close to Sheridan, too. Alternatively, the Washington Park/Platt Park/DU areas are nice, especially if you like older homes. (I live in Platt Park, my house is 119...unfortunately it looks its age ). There are always a ton of people running and biking up at Washington Park. It's relatively easy to get over to Platte River bike trail. |
