Subject: What do you get at finish of IMKY
I will be attempting to finish IMKY. Laughing If I'm fortunate enough to finish, what have they gave finishers the last two years? My previous 3 70.3 distance races have varied greatly. Just don't want to buy a hat for $35 & end up getting one at finish.

For FL I had bought a Headsweats hat at the tent before the race.  And then I was given a Headsweats visor for being in the IM Community Fund group.  Then when I finished got the obligatory medal/tee shirt/hat.

So I left the race with three hats that said "IMFL" on them.  But only the one I earned said "2007 Finisher."

In 2009 at IMKY I got a medal, finishers hat and finishers T-shirt. I didn't get a towel in 2009. Then again, I came in at 15:45... and maybe they were all out?

HA! Oopssss.... well the other poster said 2008, and I thought, "I didn't see any towels", so put in 2009. Yeah I raced in 2008. DUH! SORRY!

In 2007 they gave the finsher's tee shirt at registration.  At the finish we got a mesh cap and a towel.  In 2008 you got your finish's shirt at the finishline but no towel.  Also got a viser cap.  Oh yeah....and a horseshoe shapped finisher's medal.

They also gave out bottles of Gatorade.  I'd been drinking Gatorade all day long and they me a bottle of Gatorade?!  I just thought that was kinda funny.

Not with my first IM.

It was more like "Thank God that's over."  The second one was a better feeling.
