Subject: RE: Headphones / Earbuds Recommendations? If you don't care too much about sound quality, grab yourself a pair of Skullcandy Inkds for $15 at any Fye or Sam Goody. The sound quality is about the same as pack-in headphones that come with most MP3 players. I like them because they are comfy, they seal out noise very well for the price range (I do most of my listening on the subway and the bus ), and if I drop or lose or break them I'm out a whole fifteen bucks. I got a pair of Ultimate Ears MetroFi 170 earphones once ($50 ) and the sound quality was awesome, but I have tiny ear canals and even the smallest tips that came with them hurt my ears. My boyfriend loves them, though. For another $20 you can get them with a microphone, so you can use it as a cellphone headset too, if you're into that sort of thing. |
