Elite 3687 | Subject: RE: Twin Cities Marathon / TC 10 Mile: Roll Call! What a perfect day for a race. I did not have the race I had planned or expected. As a matter of fact I would have been very dissapointed if I would have been told my final time before the race. In the end I am very happy with the results and would not change a thing. I got to run an entire marathon with my wife and as of now, we are still married and happy. |

Expert 1027 | Subject: RE: Twin Cities Marathon / TC 10 Mile: Roll Call! I also was on the wrong side of the road, but saw the chicken costume! Great day for the race. I finished 4:12, about 35 minutes faster than last year. As much as I want to give the P2 a spin I took a bit and went to the gym and sat in the hot tub for a while and I am feeling pretty good all things considered. The last 4 were a struggle for me probably due to only having 16 as my longest training run. I am pretty shot tonight, but may kick back and watch a little tv and work on my blog post. One little spoiler that will be there: Anyone who walked around the expo may have seen Fairview clinic had a booth there. My poster was in the booth, so I posed next to it as well |

Regular 149 Minneapolis, Minnesota | Subject: RE: Twin Cities Marathon / TC 10 Mile: Roll Call! I did it! 3:55:32. My 4th marathon, and my 2nd fastest. I was happy to see the beer stop and the chicken suit! Both made me smile. Tom, I wish you'd been able to give it a go - I'm curious about that Crossfit stuff. The woman who organizes the track workouts I did this summer (she's a wicked fast triathlete and runner) swears it's the greatest thing ever. Anyway, you know I think training's totally overrated. Who's in for a Monster Dash event?? I'll be there with the kids. My husband is in for the 10-miler. |

Sorry Steve. Heckuva day for a run though! Great race Neal! |

Great video Steve! I was disappointed that you had the chicken head off when I went by, but I didn't have time to stop and wait for you to put it on. I was the guy called you the BT chicken. |

Subject: RE: Twin Cities Marathon / TC 10 Mile: Roll Call! Congrats everyone. Sounds like most everyone had good races. My wife and I did, we both PRed. I ran a 3:31 which is a 3 minute PR and she ran a 3:39 which is a 5 minute PR and a Boston qualifying time. I once again was amazed by the number of spectators that jam this course, it's absolutely incredible! |

NICE RACE JOE!! Those are great times posted by you and your wife!! Congrats!! And yeah, that chicken head was off and on all day. It's tough to see out of that head, and sometimes I needed more air. Sorry I didn't have it on when you went by! Nice run!!! |

Member 43 MInneapolis | Subject: RE: Twin Cities Marathon / TC 10 Mile: Roll Call! I ran it yesterday. It was my first marathon ever! I finished in 5:02:45. Pretty slow, but I had a foot injury I was dealing with, and I FINISHED and that's all that really matters. I couldn't believe how many people were out there cheering everyone on! What a great race. |
