I am VERY proud to say that my wonderful friend Dolores finished the distance ... a little after midnight, but as we all know, that's when it takes the MOST guts of all! Her coach and friends were there with the camera, and she looks great.

Dolores, you're the best!!!

Yay, Dolores!!! I knew she'd go the distance!

I just wanted to say "Thanks" to the KathyG and Skarl and any others who participated in updating the Watching Thread.   I think this was a marvelous and selfless thing you guyes did.  I was an active reader throughout the day, which interfered greatly with other things I was supposed to be doing.   I couldn't go out for my bike ride until Bryan came in, I put off going to bed as long as possible, wanting to see the last people come in, etc.  I have never, ever, been so involved in following an Ironman all day long.  Thanks much.

I didn't make it to the BT get-together but I did carry your numbers with me.  I cheered for each and every one of you.  I worked the finish line but we were so busy I could have caught you and not even known.  Great job out there and congratulations to each of you!

Congrats to everyone...spent 8 hours at bike special needs, but that's just not a great place to say "Hi" to BTers as they spin by, as it turns out.

Did get to cheer on Dolores as she went by (with a big smile) all six times (and again as she started her last run loop after we finished the volunteer gig and headed down to the finish area).  And everyone here racing was in our thoughts--it was great to meet some of you on Saturday (and thanks, Dolores, for the hospitality!).

You're welcome and glad it helped

Trishie was one of the 4 who kept track of all the IMAZ racers and updated the spreadsheet for several hours.  She's doing IM Cozumel this weekend -- any volunteers to track the racers and post the updates?

Thanks for fixing that although I really didn't mind the faster time you had originally for me. I had a tough day out there but a rewarding one nonetheless. We on the course all appreciated the fact that there were BT's cheering for us. Thanks everyone.

^^^ I agree.  I remember that Whizzzzz had told me that every time I crossed a timing mat I was sending a message to everyone who was watching.  That helped a lot!

Another HUGE thank you to everyone who updated as well as tracked us.  Every time I crossed a timing mat, I thought to myself, 'Give them a split!'
