Survivor--Samoa (potential spoiler)

Did Russell turn in the immunity idol tonight.  I know he found it but I had to leave and miss if he played it or not.

Nope, he did not play the idol.  Russell has to be one of the best at this game I have ever seen.  I thought it was hysterical when he realized the goofy guy was standing right next to it so he took off running and made him chase him.  Dork guy was about to pass out and Russell makes a circle and ends up right back at the same spot.  Awesome.

Russell did nOT play an idol last night.

That was great.  He does seem to have the game under control.  I think a good move for him w/b to tell jon (from the pact they made) to get rid of Jayson, and then give Jayson the idol and backdoor another Galu, maybe even Jon himself.   Then its 4 Foa Foa against 4 Galu, w/ 1 of the 4 being Shambo. 

From the previews though, Russell is about to make life difficult at camp.  He may be loading the gun to shoot himself in the foot....

and the 'dorky guy' you mentioned, Bob - doesnt he look like a tall and skinny Kevin Spacey?

Unreal.  Just UNREAL. 

And Erik has to be the least charismatic contestant ever.  Both wife and I don't even remember him or anything he has done this season.  Talk about being under the radar.  That guy is under the ground.

What an episode... Russell does it again with the idol.  This has to be some kind of record.  The former Galu tribe are about as smart as a bag of hammers to think they could throw John under the bus and him be okay with it.  Did they really think Foa Foa would believe dimwit Monica that they were voting John?  Really?  The fitness instructor dude got owned when Russell took off and found the idol on his own.  From the previews it looks like Shambo is starting to take charge of the game.  She needs to be careful since Russell has the idol and a pretty good idea of what is going on around camp. The momentum is on Foa Foa's side.  GO RUSSELL.

Minus Natalie's old man hears she is about as good as it gets.

That dude's a fitness instructor?! He looked like he was going to pass out and die on a short little run.  I would consider finding a new instructor if I were one of his clients.

I'm thinking he's more on the yoga side than the spin class instructor side.

I just can't believe Russell found another one!

Next week's previews are a bit scary...I wonder if he's TRYING to get them to vote for him so he can play another "surprise" idol.  But if that's the case I hope he's been pretending to still search or they will figure out that he has it and the plan could backfire on him.

How on earth do these guys ever trust anyone else on the island?  Sheesh...lots and lots of lying and backstabbing.  I would be lousy at it...I suck at lying.

In the past many of the participants have gone very far by riding the coattails of those who will lie. Depending on the mood of the jury that person can win since they don't perceive that person as being responsible for voting them out while others will respect the game of a liar. 

I'm thinking he might be letting the chicken go as perhaps the other tribe is not sharing the eggs?
