I would do RMS races but living in the "Burg" it's hard to drive to Richmond the night before to get the packet then drive back out the next day.  Sure wish Laurie would allow for packet pick up the day of the race like Set Up does

I saw that RMS changed the swim for the Tavern to 500M this year. I guess she is worried about having current problems again. That was a tough swim last year even at 500M or whatever it was.

Laurie's emails said that they made the swim all WITH current, so i think we might be starting up in a neighborhood and floating down to the metal staircase.

Last year it was a damn treadmill swim - 40 min for 450 m?  Sheesh.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I joined the rich tri club this month and will be doing my first tri at Smithfield Sprint next week.  I just signed up for the Rumpass in Bumpass Intl next month.  I hope to meet some of you at the races.

 There are other triathlons that are not put on by Richmond Multisports.  Here is a link to all VA triathlons.  Most of you probably already know this site but I just found out about it so I thought I would share here too.
