Belize breeze - 2010-07-12 12:18 PM HI,

Was it deep! I don't know why I am so nervous about the swim. I have pre-race jitters!

No worries I'm flipping out, too. And I'm especially not thrilled that I'm second to the last wave out I believe....that's not nice at all.

Trixie...unless you are a 35-39 male, you are actually with me, in the third to last wave (well, I guess second, if you count the males 35-39 as one, but it was broken up into two waves.)

And Me!

Hooray!!  Can you guys just pull me?

I'll be one of the guys in the wave behind you.  If I catch up, I'm happy to tow you . . . but I want a piggy-back ride on the run (you'll probably catch me on the bike, if not, please, please don't lap me on the run)!

Can you stop at the bike aid stations or is that frowned upon?   I'm getting a little anxious about the hand off thing.

I was thinking the same thing , during course rides having to stop and unclip at a couple intersections and it really helped my legs, gave them some fresh life.

Yep, no rules against that just don't take out people behind you when you stop or you'll have some pretty pissed off fellow athletes.

I went swimming in the Lake around noon today in Grand Haven, MI.  The waves were 3 to 5 feet.  I figured the practice would be good, since you never know what Sunday will be.  Once I was passed the break it wasn't too bad.  Just had to breath on one side instead of both.
