Subject: Super Sprint Triathlon in Chilliwack April 11
On April 11 the CTC is holding a super sprint tri for the tri clinic students. As this is a non sanctioned event the club would like to envite anyone who might be interested to take part in this fun casual event. ( 300 swim; 15 bike and 4 k run) This event gives the athletes a chance to put it all togehter on race day.  There is a $ 10 entrance fee for medals and pool rental! We are going to cap it at 50 participants. The race starts at 12:30. Check out the Chilliwack Triathlon Club Web site for further info and to sign up! Cheers Bruce

Word on the street is that Crazypop is training hard for this event as he took first place last year!!

kbruceh, I've taken a look at the Chilliwack Triathlon Club's website and there is no event listed as of March 29th.  I see the clinic that you refer to, but there is no info about the April 11th event, nor is there a sign up sheet.  Should I just be patient, is this coming to the website soon?  Or is there another site that I can get signup information from?

Sorry about that!! I talked to the Web master ( Grace) and she stated the info should be up by 7PM tonight. Anyone one interested must E-mail Grace for a spot with a cut off of 50 participants. No race day sign up.  We can take 5 relay teams! Bruce ( CTC PRES)

OK this is my last post! If I wasn't the president of the club I would demand we get a new leader!!!  For info on the race go to the CTC web site and go to workouts then to the race blog!

I was in Athens a couple of years ago, great city, love Greece, had lots of fun there. Went to Olympia and did the track run. It's no Chilliwack Super Sprint though.

Thanks to all the volunteers and all the the athletes who made the sprint a great success. We were just shy of 50 participants. It was good to see the first timers as well as the seasoned veterans( HAZMASTER). Relaxed race with a lot of laughs! Hopefully this race will be a annual event. Have a great safe race season. I thought the race sucked. The bike tech sucked. But he did bring me Girl Guide cookies.

Great race CTC, Bruce you are the best president ever! For sure one of the best races I've done, I'll be back next year to crush that crazy intense dude. Can't wait to see the pics and the times....not my time though....not too excited about that one....
