Swim
Comments: Didn't know what to expect with a seeded swim start but it wasn't bad at all. What would you do differently?: Training/prep wise: swim consistently even with a busy work and personal life. Also get more wetsuit swims in. Race day: concentrate more on the high elbow catch, I got too tired half way to even care...no good! Transition 1
Comments: SLOW! Wasn't that worried about going fast. Suit came off pretty fast, i liked that. What would you do differently?: focus more on speed Bike
Comments: not 100% happy with my performance here but good enough for the first race of the season. What would you do differently?: train more for now...oh and I want to start practicing the jump mount start for my future tri's. Don't think it'll improve my times by much but I like the idea of worrying about shoes while already on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: couldn't find my area right away...didnt realize i was a row over too the right. What would you do differently?: pay more attention to my position on the bike racks Run
Comments: not great but my goal the whole run leg was not to stop and I didn't. What would you do differently?: run longer distances when training. Post race
Warm down: Jimmy Johns all day! What limited your ability to perform faster: studying for a work certification Last updated: 2010-04-19 12:00 AM
