Before I started reading here, I thought I had to lose weight before I could start to run. Reading about everyone's accomplishments has made me realize that there is no need to wait; now is the time to start working towards my goals. Have a great week. |

I just started back with Weight Watchers; I'm doing it online because for whatever reason I just don't feel like going to meetings. So far so good! I'm setting my sites a little lower next week since I know week 2 is often tough; I'd just like to lose one pound. Wow, that's an excellent week! Keep up the good work and let us know what your secret is. Thanks Paul. No secret; the first week back at keeping track is always successful! I'm doing WW on line. Here's this week's weigh in, a little belated! April 27: 224.2 May 4: 216.9 May 11: 216.3 May 18: ? May 25: ? June 1: ? Who would've thunk it? Thanks saling. BTW, I was very hardcore today. It's 50 degrees and a cold rain is coming down, but that didn't stop me from getting in a run today. It was a short one, but I was just a smidge under a 12mpm pace. Neighbors were looking at me strange, but it felt incredible. I even got in an upper body weight session when I got back. Don't you just love the feeling you have after getting in a really good workout? Way to go! |

Usually weigh in first thing in the morning but forgot and didn't weigh in until after dinner. Ended up gaining a little but I think I got off pretty easy considering how much I ate Tuesday. I'm hoping part of the weight gain was dinner. I've been doing much better since then though. Need to get going again so I can meet my goal for the month. 4/28 - 201.0 5/05 - 199.0 5/13 - 199.6 |

Weather turned really bad and was very busy. But still pulled a few lbs off. Been eating very good. Looks like I may have to adjust my goal. wow hopped on scale this morning and was 262.2 I had been 256.... I can only imagine its water weight. Although I didnt eat much junk food this past week. It was a plethora of ham and bacon, with alot of diet sodas all weekend at brewer game. Come to think of it, I dont remember the last non-salty meal I had the past few days. |

weighed in at 157.2 for this week; not going to make goal but am planning to continue registering a loss. had about two weeks or so of lots of eating out for my leaving manchester and moving to birmingham. things have calmed down somewhat now, and i am feeling emotionally better. am therefore not eating as much crap, which is good |

I actually started the month a few pounds heavier than I thought. The good news is I'm down about 4 lbs. for the month so far, the bad news is I have further to go than I thought... I won't make my weight goal for the month, but I will probably end up down 5 or 6 lbs by the end of the month, so at least I'm moving in the right direction. |

I was running in the AM and I had to cut it short because of intense pain in my shins. It felt different from from the shin splints I remember from high school - it was much more intense. I came home and iced them and took it easy the rest of the day and I took yesterday off. I ran trails for the first time on Saturday so that may have had something to do with it. I think I'm going to cross train today and wait until Friday to go for an easy run. |

May 5th - 252 May 11th -250 May 18th - 248 WOOHOO under 250, 18lbs total down and well on my way to 243 goal for end of month.. Might need to push a bit more to get 5lbs in the next two weeks.. Working out 5-6 days a week right now and loving it. Even ran in the cold rain the other night... because I couldn't let myself down. My wife is not into the same workouts or doing a Tri but she is down 10lbs too now, and started the week after me... very proud of her. |
