Subject: How does your cycling shoe size compare to your running shoe sizeI'm in the market for some tri cycling shoes and have read a lot about how cycling shoes should have a very snug fit. And it's not uncommon for your cycling shoe to be 1-2 full sizes smaller than your everyday or running shoes. So how about it BT...what's your cycling shoe size compared to your running shoe size. I assume if you go sockless, that may be a .5 size difference. I wear a size 9 running shoe...rarely I'll find a 8.5 that gives me enough toe room. My first road cycling shoes were specialized size 42...but I think I bought too big (even with socks ). I just tried on some shimano tri shoes (TR-51 ) and I size 40 (size 7-7.5 US equivalent ) fit pretty snug sockless. Edited by tri808 2010-08-14 10:35 PM
