My new perfume arrived yesterday (I will never buy retail again!). Ahhhhhh it's so soft and feminine. So, my favorites are:

  • Grand Amour (Annick Goutal)
  • Quelques Fleur Rose (Houbigant)
  • Apercu (Houbigant)
  • Initial (Boucheron)

Worst perfume I ever bought was DKNY. I don't know what I was thinking.

I got that DKNY once and it totally smelled like bug spray!

Your list is like some exotic wine menu! Oh my. I'm just and old fashioned Ralph Lauren girl.

BTW: did you know that a recent study showed that the smell of grapefruit on a woman makes a man think she's 5 years younger than she is? Handy, that, eh?

Which ones are best applied in T1, and which are best for T2? Or does the distance of the race affect that decision?

Yup. I'm allergic to most perfumes. Therefore, I'm allergic to perfume wearing people. Not fun. It's one of those things that makes me really happy I'm done with college. It was torture to have to sit in an enclosed room next to someone who I'm allergic to and not be able to just leave.

COOL!

I only have one scent right now..

where did you order it from?

windaz.com - I saved almost 50% from what I saw them selling for at Saks and Nordstroms.

My favorite is Woman by Hugo Boss -- i think it does have a bit of grapefruit to it. However, I never wear it -- sitting in classes all day or an office, I don't think that other's really want to smell me all day long. So sad.

Provocative Woman by Elizabeth Arden. Mmmmm. I only wear it when going out though, I can't stand wearing perfume on a daily basis.

Other than that, my smell is sweaty. No wonder the boys don't come a runnin!

Laura, I wear perfume daily and they don't come a runnin'. I don't think it's the smell that gets them. Frankly, I don't know what gets them.

Anyhoo, I wear perfume for me.

Yeah, I give up. Tri is my new boyfriend. I don't have to worry about Tri living too far away to date either.

I'm not bitter because I'm single, it's quite the opposite. I kid, I kid.

I think I know which one you are talking about. Comes in a frosted cylindrical bottle with silver cap. Absolutely love it!!! It's young, fresh and clean. Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is also pretty nice for summer time wear.
