This is Max, our Aussie, and yes, we spoil him rotten:

This is Jazz, the RBC (Randomly Bred Canine) who came to me via a rescue agency one year ago this week.  He has made a TON of progress.  He used to display fear aggression towards men and other dogs and now welcomes people at parties and LOVES playing at the dog park!   Needless to say, I am a proud mama.

So many great dogs in this thread I almost don't know where to begin on the comments!  But I'll go with opposite ends of the spectrum:

1.  Bam-bam looks like a GREAT dog... but one of those four jobs must be for the budget in poop bags!
2.  i recognized Annie & Davey immediately!  So cute!  But not 15 pounds between the two of them!

Here's my two favorite fuzzy faces

Shadow is a BorderJack, half Jack Russel Terrier, half border collie. She's got the traits of both breeds, she herds and digs, bounces and stalks. She's terribly cute and sweet, but not especially bright. Easy to train, but not bright. She was adopted from the Western PA Humane Society.

This is what she looked like when she first came to us at 10 months. She's a little over 2 years in the above picture.

And the other is Buddy, a pure JRT. We found his fuzzy little butt through PetFinder.com. He was at the Columbiana County Dog Warden, and was about to be euthanized (later we found out that he would have been taken by a JRT rescue group if we hadn't gotten him, but as far as we knew he was on the short list!)

This is what he looked like before we adopted him, this was his pic on PetFinder

And this is him acing his obedience class, four months later. The blurry tail is pretty symptomatic of his general demeanor! He's the neediest, most loving, most quiet JRT I've ever met.

lisac957 - 2010-09-17 1:21 PM My little hunter, Bentley.
He got into a bunny nest the other day and ate a live baby bunny. The whole thing. Down his gullet . Sorry, bunny.

Lisac957, let me give you my dogs' head count.

My beagle Polly has eaten: 3.5 squirrels (one of which I believe she dispatched herself), 2 baby rabbits, and 1 baby bird (also alive at least when she found it).

My terrier mix Rufus: 2 field mice, neither of which he ate. He just brought them to us like a dutiful dog. I think I would rather he ate them.

I prefer dogs to people at least 20 to 1. I even prefer mean dogs that try to eat me for whatever reason because I know that it was some *&#$% person that made them so unfriendly.

Sampson the Wonderdog, aka Pig Dog, Piggers, Budgers, Sam-Dog, Sammy Psoriasis, etc etc etc.
10 years old, dad is an akita and mom is a GSD/Dobie cross. As you can see, he is a fierce Akita fighting machine :p

And this is Sadie, aka Boobers, Sadisasonacarus, Princess McBitchypants, DevilDog, etc. She's gone from being a tremendous wreck of an abused dog to...well, a self-righteous, overly entitled little princess :D She's 5, and a sheltie/GSD mix.

And here's the dogs during football season.
