She's adorable but I am curious, how much of the fuzzy is actually dog?

83 lbs of dog about 100 pounds of fuzz....hahhaha..

There is a lot of fur there and it comes out a couple time a year.

This is what happens in the fall and in the spring when they blow their coats and bring in a new undercoat for the fall or lose their coat for the spring.  We end up brushing here a couple times a week for 2-4 weeks and get this every time.

Yes, he's rolling in horse poop.  Bad boy!  He looked like he was a brown dog after that hike.

Too cute.

Beautiful both of them... of course I am partial to the Northern Breed and the crimson color too.

Yes! just read it last week!

bootygirl - 2010-10-06 8:01 AM

Has anyone read "a Dog's Purpose" by W Bruce Cameron?

It is written in "first person" by a dog who is reincarnated a few times as he searches for his purpose in life.

Definitely a different day (last pic was in 26" of snow). I think she's embarrassed by my performance, I'm the guy in the back with the blue shirt looking like I'm about to heave and she's refusing to look at me!

Had to share a pic of my dog, Fremont.  He's a Labradoodle that we adopted a couple of years ago.  I call him "the white shadow" because he is everywhere that I am.  I think he's more cat-like, as he prefers curling up in a little ball and sleeping in the sun as much as he can.  I love him.

ll my better pictures on still on my real camera, but here are some fuzzy ones from the phone.  This is Daisy, now 13 weeks old, most of the pictures are from a week or two ago.  She is adorable but a menace.  I just had to go to the music store to replace the microphone cord she chewed in 2 - I am sure it is the start of many more destroyed things to come!

The day we got her:

I have so many pictures to post!

Puppy Ory was adopted in July when his old owner lost his job and had to give him up. He was 8mo at the time and already
potty and crate trained. He's such a good boy who thinks he's a big dog. He loves to hoard toys, rides in the car & boat too.

The wife and I have allergies so we have to go with low dander dogs.  Either no hair or the ones that don't shed (poodle, bichon etc)

This is Chloe..  8 yr old Bichon.  She's a ham.  A lab trapped in a fluffy body.  Looks fru fru but her attitude says otherwise

This is Ozzy .  Also a ham.  18 months and the biggest goober ever (in a good way).  He's a brawler and will wrestle in the floor with you all afternoon.  All 9 lbs of him

My running partner Ben (in front).  The other dog in the back (Solomon) is getting a bit old (12-1/2), so I don't take him more than a mile or two, but Ben doesn't appear to have limits.  Not bad for a 7 year old.

Ben's a great partner.  He stays to the side until I say 'cross', listens to my every word when running.  I'm even teaching him "Ben, Turn right", or "Ben, Turn left".

How small is Shadow? Ory is 12 lbs.

My last dog, a yorkie, was named Shadow

That's really funny, I have a lot of pictures of Ory laying like your Shadow!
