Please don't ask what possessed me to try this ...

I'm eating hot rice with peanut butter and chopped up raw baby corn mixed in.

It is sooooooo delicious.

Wabash told me something about a Goober Burger.  I hope he pops in to describe it.  It sounded odd to me.

Someone posted a bacon ice cream recipe a while back.  I made it, and it was good.

I also put random stuff inside of grilled cheese sandwiches.  Tamest is a green pepper, but if I have something that vegetable related and it needs to be eaten, it goes in the grilled cheese.   To date, the list includes,  Peppers of all kinds, avacado, spinach, garlic, lettuce, and I'm sure a few others that I'm forgetting.

Instead of Pita bread just add fried tuna, egg, and cheese to rice, brown or white.

If you like frogmore stew/lowcountry boil/the pot (as my family calls it), make enough for brunch the next morning.

Shrimp & kielbasa omelettes with potatoes & onions served as home fries.

While they do actually "go together," I had never thought to have the pot for breakfast.

I have done that as well trinnas.  My father in law used to laugh at me all the time for living off of tuna and steamed brown rice.  I was one ripped SOB on that diet though.

1.  Apple pie with cheddar cheese melted on top
2.  Hamburger with a Krispy Kreme doughnut cut in 1/2 as the bun
3.  Chocolate dipped bacon
4.  This is actually a cool one:  Take a box of cake mix (just regular Dunkin Hines or similar).  Follow instructions but omit all oil and all eggs.  Replace with a can of pumpkin.  You cannot taste the pumpkin at all and it's 1000x more moist than the egg and oil method.  Better for you too.

I don't like it, but there are those who enjoy tomato juice and beer.

I like ketchup on mashed potatoes.

You don't even need to melt it.  Just slice up some sharp cheddar and eat a little bit with each bite of pie.  Better if the pie is warm.  The combination of sweet warm pie and cold sharp cheddar is delicious.

I've always eaten scrambled egg sandwiches. Eggs, mayo, and bread.

My family has a killer ham salad recipe that some folks don't like... but then I eat it with peanut butter.

Peanut butter and ham salad is perhaps the greatest sandwich ever...

This, so far, has come close to being foods I wouldn't think would go together, depending on what's in the ham salad. If it's just ham and mayo, then really, it's just a PB/ham/mayo sandwich.

I think it's time to go Asian on this thread.
