jrj0924 - 2011-03-24 8:46 AM Just signed up last night...guess I need to get on some speed work for the next 3 weeks!

See you and Scottie out there! Should be a fun little race. If you are doing this, who will video Scottie swimming?

I think law enforcement and ems services are required to film when they go in to rescue someone

Just bumping this to the top- it will be my first race this season so I am getting excited! Curious about the swim temps though - is there a place to check the water temps in that lake?

Do you know what the temp is now (just curious)? I swam in Jordan Lake yesterday and it was OK in a wetsuit.

Got my race packet earlier today...liking the T-shirts and for once I will not look like a crazy stalker in a white swimming cap (red this race)! See you all out there. I hope the drizzle lets up! Anyone know what the lake temp is?

Water temp 65*

Official water temp this morning was 62.5 degrees.  It was cold.  Had a hard time getting it going on the bike after that.  The run was great, however.  Awesome run course. A loop on paved greenway trials.  Loved it.

X2 on everything you said! The run was one of the nicest I've done in a triathlon- really enjoyed the first bit along the river and then the looong downhill.

This race was so much fun! It was my first Tri and I won the Athena division (think I was the only one there) I had a great time my goal was for under 2 hrs and I came in well under that. I know that's slow to some, but I've been running just since September. The race was very organized and I had no problems understanding what to do and where to go. All participants were supportive too. See ya next year!

My only complaint about fsseries is how slow they are in getting results up. Setup usually posts results the same day...in the last fs race i did the results were only up on monday. Anyway, they did say by sunday at nine they would be up.
