11 miles run for me. The heat is humorous in Florida. You run a while and laugh at yourself for looking like a wet Honey Badger, but just like him, you don't care.

Had a great workout week so taking a day off, or maybe just a short bike ride. 192 total miles between swim, bike, and run, most ever. I entertained the kids yesterday with my twitching calves while we watched TV.

6 mile hill run.  Started at 6:30 and while the temp was only 73, the humidity was 89%.  Came back looking like I just stepped out of the shower.  Icing knee now and watching the Open.

7 mile run this am.  Was a tough one.  Might have had 1 too many beverages last night at the neighborhood cook out and it is humid in Michigan this am.

Easy 90 min ride. Hip has been bothering me some this week so decided to keep it at a very easy pace.

Resting from my race yesterday.  Watching the Tour and the British Open this morning.  Some chores around the house and a soak in the pool later.

Wow I'm a lazybutt this morning compared to all of you! The only thing I've done so far is sleep in. Three full days in the sun watching softball wiped me out! (Daughter's team took 2nd btw...they battled hard!) I'll get on my bike at some point today. My 8 week Olympic plan starts tomorrow!

Went on my first group ride.  40 miles 1300 feet of elevation.  Don't know if that's considered tough, but it was freaking killing me!  I kept up ok, I knew the hills be would an issue for me since the route I usually ride is pretty flat.  I am glad I got to ride it though.  Good to realize I need to work on my climbs for the future.

Sprint tri. By the time I got to the run, it was 80+ degrees, 75 degree dew point, nearly 90% humidity as there's supposed to be a thunderstorm rolling in. Man, I wish I could've done that one in reverse order!!! It was actually almost chilly when we started!

It felt good and I didn't bother with the Garmin so I was kind of surprised that my time was so much slower than I thought it would be - 1:42. But, it was a tough course (lots of surprise hills on the bike) and with the nasty weather, I can accept that I did my best and had a good time, only got passed by three people on the bike and I'm pretty sure I came in the top third. So I'm proud of myself.

Did a hilly 15 mile bike ride followed by a four mile run.

I started at around 10:45am here in Georgia so I was burning up by the end.

First Oly today, and I got owned on the run. I've never had cramps that bad. Time to do some nutrition research I think, although it was probably that I ran out of training before I ran out of race. Finished, but it wasn't pretty.

Swim & bike went well; wilted in the heat during the run.  Disappointed with my time, but glad to finish my first race since hurting my Achilles last year.  We'll have to meet up at another race sometime soon.

Nice day - cloudy and 70 degrees (sorry everyone)! 2 hour ride, hard sustained effort with about 10 minutes of easier riding in the middle, followed by 2 hour skate practice. Legs are tired. Now watching IT Crowd on netflix and drinking coffee.

Decided to ride by myself instead of with the group this morning, and I'm glad I did! 54.5 miles on the bike with a 19.3 mph average. Usually the group rides go 16.5 mph avg, tops.
