Subject: Hi all, been a while.

Just wanted to drop by and say hello.  Been very hectic at writing Caps and Lims for a new boat, writing tactics and proving them, all in preparation for deployment.  Still not sure of exact date or where we will be going.

By the way, the 21st was my 20 year mark in the Navy! I can officially say up yours and move on now.  Think I will hang on a while longer though.  After this I will look into contract work for a couple hitches then permanently retire and get back on track with Tri's.

Hoping next year will be a little more calm and I can do a few.  Anyways, hope the year is going well for you all.

I don't know you (I'm pretty new here) but I see your in the Navy and a Husker, so you have two thumbs up in my book.  

Had I stayed in I would have hit 20 years in the Navy in January this year.  I joined Jan 91 and got out in 97.  FC2 from the USS Chandler.

Good luck hitting some Tri's in the near future.

Iwas just thinking about you the other day!   I wondered how much technical stuff you were writing.  (I thought about this because I'm an English teacher and my students always tell me that what they learn in grammar class isn't relevant in the real world!).

I haven't done tris in a LONG time but my hubby is still doing them along with other insane stuff, like ultras, hash runs, marathons, you name it he tries it!

Good to see that you are doing well.
