As the title really. I am doing my first ever HIM's next year ( Muskoka booked and possibly Peterborough) as this is new ground to me I need all the help going. Found a couple of places online, however the coaches are more marathon and cycling focused than Tri and HIM specialists. So any help welcome. I am going to cross post this on the Iron Distance forum as well.

have you looked into joining a local tri club? There is one in Toronto, Burlington and maybe in Miss.

There are several tri specific coaches in the London area - Jeff Robinson and Darryl Bondy (both at MSZ) and Sherry Fraser all provide individualized plans for their athletes.  I'm not sure if they will coach over the internet though, I'm pretty sure Jeff would.

I used this plan for my first HIM in 2009 and it worked very well for me.

I don't have a coach so i can't say from personal experience but NRG here in Toronto is a pretty comprehensive place and probably has both.   I was part of a swim group with Ayesha Rollinson and I know she also does individual coaching.  I've seen that Lisa Bentley is doing coaching out Caledon way. Can be pricey but you didn't mention any budget limitations.

There are lots of online options, too.   Here on BT, Mark Allen Online, Training Peaks.

I second the recommendation for NRG - I have a couple of friends who are coached by them and are very happy.
